Hello Everyone!
HOPE you all have had a better month than we have had here. I have been dealing with a sick dog for the last 5 days and am totally exhausted. (Which is why i am late with this letter! ) I think she has finally turned the corner, but still has not eaten after SEVEN days!  Keep your fingers crossed she eats today or we have yet another trip to the vet tomorrow. Which reminds me- GAS is yet another expense....UGH.
This is Peanut. .

I pulled her off the euthanasia list in a Denver shelter. She was going to be put down because she had a "Damaged Dew-claw"...... It is about the size of a grain of rice.... SO happy to have been able to help her!!
Trooper Frank!
Incredible story this guy has!! During our clinic last month i got a call from the same Denver shelter. A Chihaauhau had been attacked by another dog and had a HUGE wound on his side. The size of a softball.. They were of course going to euthanize him. They said because they were afraid he would get maggots from all the flies.... So friend Bree drove to get him as of course i couldn't leave. When he got here Dr. welsh was ready and sewed him up. Dr. Welsh calls him Frank because he sad he looked like Frankenstien... Everyone else called him Trooper as he is SUCH a great great little guy. Never made a peep during any of this and just wagged his tail and gave kisses. He had  this wound for so long that Dr. Welsh had to remove alot of dead tissue so it was really hard to sew him up. He had to have the surgery repeated FIVE times. Just yesterday Dr. Welsh said he is now 100% healed! Bless his heart Dr. Welsh has kept him at his house all this time for me!  Pictures of the wound can be seen on my FB page. I didn't want to put them on here as i know Judy is gagging already. :)
Our Hero!!!

We got 72 more animals altered at the last clinic. Everything went great again except for poor Dr. Welsh didn't have any A/C and it was 100 degrees in his surgery room. Thanks again to C.A.R.E. for helping sponsor this clinic, and to everyone else who pitched in!!
Husband John talking to one of the people who brought an animal to be altered. Here you can see the motor home in the driveway while we are all working. Sadly the motor home has broke down, and in order to have any more clinics here i will have to set up a clinic myself. First i have to find a mobile home to use as a building. If any of you know of one near us please let me know! Also if anyone wins the lottery and can afford to help us buy all the equipment THAT would REALLY help! :) we are working on grants for this also so if any of you have time to Google grants that will help for equipment for low-cost spay/neuter clinics, even your time looking things up for us would help a ton!

I have taken in 5 small dogs this month, and 1 cat and of course kittens. Help spread the word about our work to all your friends and family. The more help we can get the more innocent lives we can save. THANK YOU to all of you who have helped. Together we are making a difference!
