October Newsletter
Hello Everyone!
As usual LOTS  going on here at the shelter.  Getting ready for another spay/neuter clinic. Dr. Welsh and his crew will be arriving Oct. 9th at 9:00am, and will stay the night and continue with surgeries Sunday the 10th also. We already have the appointments filled up, and it goes to show the need for this in this rural area. The biggest THANK YOU ever to Dr. Welsh!!, and to Marci from Lit'l Bit Of Love who got all this started!  We will post pictures and tell you all about it in the next newsletter. I als have to send a big THANK YOU to Lisa & Linda from C.A.R.E. They have been sponsoring the clinics and have donated 15.00$ towards the fisrt 40 animals for 2 of these clinics. This helps a TON!! They have also sponsored Ciego so he can get neutered this comming up weekend. For the shelter 7 dogs will be getting neutered this time. 5 are the Shi-tzu Puppies, and the other is an older Shi-tzu named Beau i just rescued last week. All of these guys will need a 25.00$ sponsorship, so if you would like to sponsor one please let me know! I
"Ciego" has finally arrived!
Many of you waited and waited to hear about this little guy. It took 3 months to get him here after i said i would take him in.. He was born with eyes that were not fully developed and is completely blind. He is a toy aussie and 5 months old. Only weighing about 7lbs. He is doing GREAT! He doesn't know any better, so he is just as happy as can be. He has the stairs, yard and kitchen all figured out so just plays along with the rest of the crew here. "Ciego" i was told means "small eyes" in spanish.
This picture did not tirn out very good. It is Dancer, Tinky (the deaf aussie) and me in the kitchen getting hugs.
This is "Pedro" and "Candi"..... 2 little love-birds having a terrible rough life here at the sanctuary!  :)
Once again THANK YOU to all of you who help out. There are SO many people to thank. Without all of you these little sweeties would not be able to be here. We appreciate each and every one of you, and HOPE we will continue getting your support!

Happy Fall to you ALL!
