I am still here! Sorry i am so late with this months newsletter. I have just been SWAMPED, and now i cannot get the YAHOO mail to work right so this may be a short letter.
We just had another spay/neuter clinic last weekend. Once again everything went great, and we all worked very hard, plus had a great time! For the first time ever we had alot of cancellations, so we only got 36 animals altered. But that is 36 more that will not have thousands of unwanted babies! Thanks again to Linda & Lisa at C.A.R.E for sponsoring our clinic! We appreciate you!!!
The First two pictures are of two 3 week old kittens someone dropped off at our clinic. they did not want them.... so we all took turns bottle feeding them all weekend, and then Dr. Welsh took them to another rescue who is actually looking for kittens. So happy ending for these two babies! |

This is our crew! On Top is Dr. Welsh and myself. Bottom row is Sahaja- one of the vet-techs, Then marci who is also in rescue and who i do these clinics with- then Lisel another of the vet-techs who comes up for the weekend for every clinic. We actually got done early Saturday and all got to go out to dinner together! It was fun, plus i didn't have to cook! :)
Seems like every day is the same to me. All i do is let dogs in/out, clean, clean, clean and then clean some more! LOTS of grooming since it is getting nice outside, and running here and there to pick up donations and all the things needed to run a shelter. Plus as many of you know who have been here- lots of work on the ranch also!!
Looking forward to the group of Denver women comming up the May 15th. And John of course. They come in 3 SUV's and bring alot of much needed supplies! Can't Wait!
Once again i have to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who help us. We couldn't do this with out you! THANK YOU from us all!! Tami & critters |
