Hello Everyone! |
Meet Jasper! He is a 10 year old Cocker spaniel who was going to be put to sleep in our local shelter because of his age. We got him out just in time, and he spent the weekend with all of us at the spay/neuter clinic. What an awsome boy he is! He just had a blast greeting everyone and hanging out. Dr. Welsh ended up taking him home! Happy Ending! |

The puppies are growing! They are still pretty little tho! :) ~ Our next clinic is the 26th of March, and HOPEfully i will get them all altered then. If anyone wants to sponsor a surgery-please let us know! They will be ready for their new homes after they recover! |

Our newset resident. "Dinky" is a Sr. Yorkie with no teeth! I have to hold him on my lap and feed him soft food 3 times a day. He is a little doll, and new friend to "Minnie" who is pictured with me below. |

Little Minnie has been with me for a couple of years. She was a breeder release, she would have babies that would not survive, so she was "usless" to the breeder............ |

Wanting to say a big Thank you to Marci from Little Bit of Love animal rescue for getting all the clinics started, and for all the hard work she does!!! You are a GOOD person!
We have pretty much run out of resturaunts that will donate the people food we need for the clinics, so right now a big need we have is for donations so we can feed everyone over the weekend. Not to mention the gas-gas-gas we use to drive all over putting up flyers, picking up food, getting the port-a-potty back and forth, and running animals here and there. There are SO many small things we have to pay for that people do not realize. We have almost gotten 500 animals altered now, and we want to keep going!!! Donations towards this project are greatly needed!
THANK YOU to all of those who have helped. C.A.R.E. out of Denver once again donated towards each cat we altered. With their help the public only had to pay TEN dollars for each animal!
We are looking for cat traps. James from Friends of Ferels always comes to help with the clinics, and this time he brought up some traps and we went to Hereford, CO and trapped 11 ferel cats. Dr. Welsh altered them and then we released them the next day. I would like to have some traps available for people who may need them to get ferels to our clinics. Thanks James for all your help!
Other than the clinics things are going along as usual here. I am exhausted. Right now i have a lady with about 20 dogs that need a place to go by Friday. I also have a man with 17 cats on his farm i just HAVE to come and get. The E-mails with euthanasia lists just never end. Animals homeless because their people are homeless, dumped animals on the side of the road.... i could go on and on. The GOOD thing about this is all of the animals WE have saved! They all appreciate you!
Everyone have a good month! Tami & Critters |
